Cool enough to keep insulin for medical usage. The fridge uses a peltier with a cooling fan, so it should be easy to repair with common parts, albeit the less efficient cooling. But for the price, can't beat the quality. There is also a latch to keep the door closed, very good feature. Shelf included can still fit short drink carton. Did not monitor whether the cooling will stop once temp is reached but there is no temp setting.
