The Lens
The PowerShot V1 is equipped with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that is equivalent to a 17-52mm lens for Full Frame cameras (16-50mm when taking still photos) with an aperture range of F2.8-11 at the wide-angle setting. making it ideal for vlogging without the worry about changing lenses. Keeping things cool
The PowerShot V1 is an impressive content creation tool. for many reasons. and a big one is the ability to create without interruption. In order to do that. the PowerShot V1 features a cooling fan to keep internal components from getting too hot. allowing for virtually unlimited continuous shooting at 4K60P. The fan pulls heat from the sensor and vents it out the side to prevent overheating. which extends recording times and ensures consistency during long shoots.
Shooting Modes
Featuring a close-up movie mode for displaying small objects which the dual pixel AF II will lock onto. and Movie IS to reduce camera shake for clear videos & Smooth Skin Movie. You can also use the standard choices of full-auto. full manual operation. & Shutter- or Aperture-priority exposure. On top of all of this. you can even register up to 3 custom shooting modes (C1. C2. C3) for video or still shooting. In a first for PowerShot cameras. the V1 includes a switch for video or still shooting.
